Privacy policy
What this site collects, who handles it, and what you can do about it.
Last updated 13 October 2026
Internet Marketing Grid is a small site. It collects very little, and this page lists all of it, along with the outside services that handle it.
What you give us
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe. It is stored by MailerLite, the service that sends the emails.
- Contact form: your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. The form is run by Formspree, which passes the message on to us.
We do not have user accounts or comments, so we hold nothing else about you.
What is collected as you browse
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. It records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, the type of device and browser, and how you arrived (for example from a Pinterest pin). We have asked Google Analytics to anonymise IP addresses.
When you click a link that leads to Amazon, we also record that a click happened and which product it was for. We do not know who you are, and the click is not tied to your name or email address.
Your light or dark display choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter to people who asked for it.
- To reply to messages, and to fix anything you tell us is wrong.
- To learn which pages, products and sources of visitors are useful, so we can write better guides.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles your data
- MailerLite stores newsletter addresses and sends the emails.
- Formspree receives what you type into the contact form and forwards it to us.
- Google Analytics receives the usage information described above.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. When a page loads, your browser asks Google for them, so Google sees your IP address and browser details.
- Amazon takes over when you click a link to it. Amazon’s own privacy notice applies from that point, and Amazon sets its own cookie so that it can tell the purchase came from us.
We do not control these services. Each has its own privacy policy, and we suggest reading it if you want the detail.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. Amazon sets its own cookie when you follow one of our links, which lasts 24 hours. We set no advertising cookies of our own, because we run no advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site works the same without them.
The newsletter
- When you subscribe you will receive an email asking you to confirm. Until you do, you are not on the list.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click removes you.
- We never sell or rent your address. The emails carry no affiliate links.
How long we keep things
Your newsletter address stays until you unsubscribe. Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Analytics data is held by Google under its own retention settings.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you, which is limited to your newsletter address and any messages you sent. Some countries give you further rights by law, and we will deal with any reasonable request in good faith.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. It has no user database of its own. The details you submit go straight to Formspree and MailerLite, whose own security practices apply. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee otherwise.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Changes
When this page changes, we update the date at the top.
