We are recording what these products cost every week until 27 November, so that when the discounts arrive you can tell a real cut from a marked-up one.

Most Black Friday discounts are measured against a price nobody was paying. A retailer lifts the reference figure in October, drops it in November, and the saving is arithmetic rather than money. The only defence is knowing what something actually cost beforehand.
So this page is a price watch first and a deals list second. From today until 27 November we check each product weekly and publish the record: what we have seen it at, what it usually costs, and the lowest we have caught it. When Black Friday arrives, the discount either beats that record or it does not.
Nothing here is a prediction. We do not know what will be discounted, and any page claiming otherwise in September is guessing.
Checked weekly and published as recorded. When a November price beats the low below, it is a discount. When it does not, it is a reference price.
| Product | Now | Lowest recorded | Typical | Checks |

| Sony WH-1000XM5 | $199 | $199 | $199 | 5 |

Watch closely
Premium headphones often see their deepest cuts around major sale events, but this one has already fallen well below the price we first recorded. A November price only counts as a discount if it beats the lowest we have logged.
Already cheap
Anker discounts often and deeply year-round, so a November price may be no better than an ordinary Tuesday. The record will show it.
Biggest absolute saving
The most expensive thing we cover, so a modest percentage is real money. Monitors also tend to see genuine cuts rather than reference-price games.
Deepest discount, usually
Amazon discounts its own hardware aggressively in November. Expect a real cut here, and expect it to be the loudest one advertised.
Steady
Holds its price most of the year. A meaningful November cut would be unusual, which is exactly what a record lets you verify.
Our verdict. Check the recorded low against whatever November advertises. If the Black Friday price is not below the low we have logged, it is not a discount, it is a reference price doing its job.
